I can definitely feel your pain as I read this; kind of reminds me of an MCR song, like "Mama", but it's got your style, so I don't exactly think of their music, but I can still definitely relate it to some of their... "Softer" songs, I suppose.

It has a sharpness to it, yes, but more like a pointed neutrality, ahahaha. There's a specific something that most everyone sharply knows that this is.
It works nicely through the clairvoyance with the penchant flattery. Ie, I like the repetition of "my angel".
